Pursuing an open degree
The open degree allows students to explore different university degrees for a year and a half before deciding which degree to pursue definitively.
This program offers the opportunity to combine subjects from various degrees, providing an interdisciplinary base.
Students take 60 credits combining by blocks the subjects of four different degrees: Degree in Tourism, Degree in Marketing, Events and Entertainment, Degree in International Hotel Management and Degree in Digital Business and Innovation.

Dual training: part of the training is carried out in a company
- This option is ideal if you are looking for a challenge, growth and a competitive advantage on your resume. It will allow you to spend the second semester of the third year and the first semester of the fourth year in a company.

Final Degree Project
The Final Degree Project is a research or application project that represents all the learning acquired during your studies. It reflects the skills acquired, their application, and practical development. You can choose from three types of Final Degree Projects:
Your own subject
You will conduct your own research project under the supervision of a CETT-UB professor.
Entrepreneurial project
You will develop a business project. You must define the strategies and actions necessary to launch it on the market. The work is structured like a business plan (executive summary, market and competition analysis, and strategic, marketing, operations, and financial plans).
TFG linked to national or international companies, organizations and institutions
You will focus your final project on applied research or developing an innovative and entrepreneurial project within these organizations, both nationally and internationally.
Methodology
CETT has its own learning methodology. The learning system is characterized by personalized treatment and attention. This training model is combined with other training methodologies, such as:

- Participation in study and research groups, and development of expert knowledge in tourism
- Attendance at roundtables, seminars, conferences, and presentations
- Preparation of reports and written assignments

- Challenge-Based Learning (CBL), which will allow you to address simulated or real-life problems posed by teachers, organizations, or companies in the CETT partner network.
Evaluation
CETT prefers in-person classes and continuous assessment, as it develops a teaching methodology based on challenge-based learning and entrepreneurial project development.
You can choose between two different types of assessments:
Continuous evaluation
Consists of assessing the work and the acquisition of skills and abilities carried out by students throughout the course.
Single evaluation
In special circumstances, students who, for justified reasons, cannot regularly attend in-person classes may opt for this alternative assessment option, consisting of a semester-based assessment test.

- Academic Mobility: CETT has specific agreements for students to offer them the opportunity to study at a national or foreign university and benefit from scholarships for mobility plans.
- International internships: From your first year, you can do internships abroad at leading tourism and hotel companies. We'll connect you with international charitable institutions, NGOs, and startups in the sector, as well as companies recognized for their competitiveness and excellence.
Internships and jobs
During the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, you will have to do internships in tourism companies, institutions, and organizations with the goal of acquiring new skills and applying the knowledge learned during the degree.
The Career Services department will guide you on the types of internships you can do at top-tier national and international companies.

Curricular internships
- Paid professional internships in national and international companies.
- They are divided into two periods of curricular internships in CETT-application companies or in collaborating companies.
- Minimum duration: 225 hours of training each

Extracurricular internships
- Paid professional internships in national and international companies.
- From the first year, you'll be able to do voluntary internships to develop a qualified professional profile and gain experience.
- Maximum duration: 900 hours per course.
