The CETT Smart Tourism Congress Barcelona is a biannual international congress that, since 2016, brings together experts to analyze smart tourism, generating synergies and defining the future of this innovative sector.

The CETT Smart Tourism Summit Barcelona is focused on technological trends applied to the customer journey. It promotes practical solutions and strategies that connect innovation and sustainability in tourism.

The CETT Observatory is a space for open debate that brings together academics and professionals to analyze and discuss key issues in the tourism sector. With more than 20 editions since 2010, it promotes the exchange of ideas, experiences and future perspectives.

The CETT Entrepreneurship Day is aimed at entrepreneurs who innovate in tourism, hospitality and gastronomy in a sustainable and responsible way. It includes the presentation of award-winning projects, a round table on mentoring and the presentation of awards for academic excellence.

The Esmorzars de Turisme are meetings organized by Fomento del Trabajo and CETT-UB that offer a space for dialogue to analyze tourism trends and challenges. The next edition will address the tourism tax in Catalonia and its impact on the local economy, with experts from the sector and authorities.

The III Latin American Congress on Hotel and Restaurant Research addressed challenges in the sector, promoting sustainability and competitiveness in a virtual event with academics, students and professionals.

La II Conferencia Internacional de Turismo Literario y Cinematográfico se celebrará en Faro, Portugal, el 17 y 18 de enero de 2025, abordando sostenibilidad, rutas turísticas, tecnología y preservación del patrimonio cultural.

The Rural Tourism Observatory is the largest research project on the sector in Spain, developed to generate knowledge and provide valuable information on the supply and demand of rural tourism. It conducts annual studies based on surveys to owners and travelers, with the support of EscapadaRural, CETT and Netquest.

The “Seminars on Contemporary Issues in Tourism” return to Casa Vicens with the seminar “Living Heritage and Tourism”.

Co-organized by CETT and Casa Vicens, the event will feature experts in cultural heritage and tourism, with free access with prior registration.

Every year, the Trobada Gastronòmica analyzes through lectures, round tables and workshops the latest trends in cuisine and gastronomy. Topics such as Catalan cuisine and health, artificial intelligence or sustainability have been key themes of recent meetings, aimed at students of CETT and the professional public.
