The Alimara Hospitality Living Lab is an experimental space in a real-world environment, ideal for all members of the hospitality and restaurant innovation ecosystem who want to take their ideas to the next level. This living lab allows for co-creation and experimentation with new technologies and concepts before they are implemented on a large scale. Here, new ways of interacting with customers, optimizing internal processes, and exploring innovative technological solutions can be tested. Additionally, it provides the opportunity to test products before they reach the market, minimizing the margin for error and allowing for a better understanding of consumer reactions.

Leaders and Team of the Laboratory
The Alimara Hospitality Living Lab is led by Álvaro Arrieta-Valle, manager of the Alimara University Hotel, and Oriol Anguera-Torrell, director of the GRATiR (Tourism Accommodation and Restaurant Research Group). Additionally, the lab’s competitive projects are coordinated by Max Ros, ensuring efficient and innovative management of our initiatives.
We also have the collaboration of the entire team of hospitality and restaurant experts from CETT-UB, which allows us to tackle multidisciplinary challenges with a practical and highly efficient approach.
