CETT Foundation increases and adapts financial help to study in 2020/2021
Because of our firm conviction that
education and knowledge transfer are fundamental, CETT Foundation has decided
to increase the financial help available to students and has incorporated new
scholarships for the year 2020/2021, particularly because of the difficulties
arisen with the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the current unprecedented circumstances, CETT Foundation has launched the Talent Scholarships for new students, for two different academic tiers: one set of scholarships for new students wishing to study Vocational Training Courses, Restaurant Business and Bachelor’s Degree programs and another set of scholarships for European and South American students wishing to take a Master’s Degree.
On the other hand, the Scholarship for Academic Excellence – new students, has been modified to give prospective first year undergraduate students, the chance of starting their training at CETT by taking a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences or in Tourism.
At the same time, CETT Foundation has increased the existing annual Study Scholarships with a further € 50.000 with the aim of helping those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to pursue their Degree studies.
Additionally, CETT Foundation will still award Continuity Scholarships for CETT graduates and diploma holders; these scholarships will cover 50% of tuition fees of any postgraduate program (Masters, Postgraduate courses and Lifelong Learning Courses) to help CETT’s student community continue with their training, something we deem more necessary than ever given the new circumstances we are living.
Next year we will continue to offer financial help as we have in recent years; this is the case of the Mou-te! Academic Scholarship sand Mout-te! International Internshipsaimed at facilitating students’ mobility abroad. The former help students take part of their study program, abroad studying at one of our partner universities; the latter help students do their internship abroad or take part in international management training programs.
CETT will also give students the opportunity of making tuition fee payments in 6, 10 or 12 monthly installments through a bank student loan and enjoying a 5% discount on the payments.
With these measures, CETT continues to put people first, helping our student community continue their studies. Our priority next year will still be the safety of our entire community and we will strive to incorporate innovative teaching trends into both our traditional classrooms and online classes.
CETT Foundation has always strived to promote knowledge creation and transfer in the areas of tourism, hospitality and gastronomy, placing a strong emphasis on applied research, training and supporting social innovative initiatives through several actions namely annual scholarships and financial aid programs.
