El CETT lanza dos cursos en línea en la Tourism Online Academy de la Organización Mundial del Turismo
CETT, Barcelona School of Tourism, Hospitality, and Gastronomy, has signed an agreement with the Tourism Online Academy to offer courses on the educational platform created by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
Online learning with UNWTO
Our center has initiated its collaboration with the creation of two courses in Spanish aimed at professionals who wish to update their knowledge, as well as people interested in becoming professionals in tourism and hospitality management.
These CETT courses, each with a total of 40 hours, are now available on [UNWTO's Tourism Online Academy](la Tourism Online Academy de l'OMT) with the following titles:
- Revenue Management: from its origins and evolution to the latest trends
- Basic cooking techniques (in Spanish)
- Basic cooking techniques (in Arabic)
The latter qualification is particularly valuable, as CETT stands out for its training in the field of gastronomy.
The UNWTO Tourism Online Academy offers programs created by the best tourism and hospitality universities to promote and make knowledge, education, and training accessible. These two courses are a continuation of the collaboration between CETT and UNWTO.
CETT is an affiliate member of the UNWTO, a specialized agency of the United Nations in charge of promoting responsible, sustainable, and accessible tourism. Dr. Maria Abellanet Meya, president of the CETT group, is part of the board of directors of the UNWTO affiliate members. In turn, UNWTO collaborates in important events organized by CETT, such as the Tourist Talent Management, the Smart Tourist Congress Barcelona, and the Alimara Awards.
