On your Academic Closing Ceremony day we kindly ask you to arrive punctual to the meeting times specified in the table. In the meantime we will give you your graduation band and we will perform a rehersal.

Do you have any doubts? We answer all your questions
• How will I receive the necessary information? Students will receive the emails through the Virtual Campus and, to the email with which you had registered. If you don’t receive the communications, please contact with the Academic Secretary. Family members won't be recieving any communications directly. Please inform them if they wish to accompany you.
• Do I have to confirm that I want to attend? It is essential to confirm attendance to the event. If you don’t confirm your attendance, it will be understood as a refusal and you will not have a reserved seat in the event.
• Can my parents, family and friends come to the event? Yes. Each students can be accompanied by 2 people, either family members or friends. In addition, if there is space available, we will notify you so that more companions can come.
• In which language will be the ceremony The ceremony will be in Catalan but with interventions in Spanish and English.
• Will I have the officials photos of the event? Yes, we will take a photo for you that can then download to share with whoever you want. The photographs will be taken during the event in small groups. At the end we will take a group photo. We will post them as soon as possible in the web so that you can download or send them to family and friends.
• Which students will be with me at my graduation? Your classmates and other students from other courses with the same level of studies than yours.
• What time does the event start? It will be in the afternoon. You can see the schedule on your invitation. Remember that we will ask you to come before to do a rehearsal.
• What time will the event end? The approximate duration will be in-between 1h and 1h 30 minutes, but you must come before to check in and a perform a short rehearsal before the start.
• How do we have to dress? As every year, the graduation is a formal event and an important day. Clothing should reflect this.
• What security measures will there be? Access and exit to the auditorium will indicated by different doors. Sanytizer gel will be at your disposal. You can wear a mask if you wish.
• How will the arrival be? For those ceremonies taking place in the Hotel Alimara Barcelona, the entrance will be through the hotel where the access control will be placed, then you will be directed to the hotel garden to enter the auditorium.
For the ceremonies taking place at the Paranymph Hall in the historical building of the University of Barcelona, the entrance will be done by the main door located in Plaça Universitat. The security control will be at the main hall.
• Will there be cloakroom service? We don’t have available the cloack-room service, but you can leave hanging on your chair: jacket, handbag ... etc.
• Do we have an assigned place? Yes, when you arrive we will tell you where you have to enter to the auditorium and where you have to sit.
• When will I get my stole? The stole will be imposed to you during the ceremony.
• Can we go to the bathroom? Once the ceremony rehearsal starts you will not be able to leave, so if you need to go to the bathroom you should go in advance o once the ceremony is finished.
• Can I park my car at the hotel? The parking of the Hotel is for the exclusive use of customers. We recommend you take public transportation to avoid delay due to lack of parking in the vicinity of the school.
In the city center we recommend you to use public transporation as there won't be much parking near by and will have a cost.
