CETT Talent: the meeting point between students and companies
CETT Talent is a unique environment where students, alumni, professionals and companies meet to create job opportunities and networking. In short, an opportunity to connect with leading companies in the tourism, hospitality, gastronomy, marketing and events sectors. In this 23rd edition, the figures were as follows:
- 678 candidates: 638 students and 40 alumni
- 79 participating companies and institutions: Hospitality (46), Gastronomy (17), Tourism (12) and Events + Marketing + IT (4)
- 2.630 personal interviews conducted
CETT Talent, in the words of the participating students
Georgina Prat, Degree in Hotel Management: “CETT Talent is an opportunity for all students that I recommend taking advantage of. It is a very good place to find internships, jobs, or even international experiences. In my case, thanks to CETT Talent, I was able to do an internship in Menorca, at Hotel Melià for two months in the position of Guest Relations.
Mauro Tesorero, Higher Technician in Catering Services: “CETT Talent centralizes all the opportunities that students can have in a single space. I had expectations and it has exceeded them, I think it is a great example of why we are studying at CETT. I came looking for internships and I have been able to get job opportunities.”
Lucía Ramos, Degree in Marketing, Events and Entertainment: “CETT Talent is a very enriching experience that has allowed me to talk to many companies and get to know their point of view. It is an opportunity to learn and receive feedback from the interviewing staff, which makes you feel very comfortable.”

I think it is a great opportunity for both students and alumni because it is a way to open doors, meet companies that you may not know and access job opportunities that you might not even imagine.”

Sebastian Viera, Senior Technician in Tourism Accommodation Management: “Thanks to CETT Talent 2024 I found Dual Training internships at Hotel Active Marina Barcelona. Right now I am in the reception department and soon I will do a cross training for reservations and events”.
Laia Gálvez, Degree in Tourism: “It's my first year at CETT Talent and I liked it more than I thought I would. I came with pressure and nerves, but in the interviews everyone is very welcoming and makes it easy. They understand your situation and give you flexibility and opportunities. It's a good time to interview and lose your fear.”
El pre CETT Talent: Talleres y workshops
The Career Services and CETT Alumni departments have carried out a total of 7 activities aimed at students and alumni focused on the preparation of CETT Talent. Thus, Career Services offered workshops to improve the curriculum vitae and two sessions with Turijobs and Enterprise to overcome a selection process. For its part, CETT Alumni organized two activities as part of the “Lunch with CETT Alumni”: a workshop on how to conduct successful interviews and a role-play dynamic to practice interviews.
