CETT Fundació increases financial support for studies because of COVID-19

CETT Fundació is painfully aware of the effects caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and wants to help CETT students who have been struck by the pandemic and that is why it has agreed on providing an extra package of financial support measures for the 2020/21 academic year which will top the ordinary annual scholarships offer.
In 2019, CETT provided € 76,900 to financial support programs to enable students to continue with their training; this sum will increase by €50,000 in 2020 to help CETT students alleviate the economic damage they may have suffered. This extraordinary call for scholarships will top our annual scholarships; such scholarships want to encourage hard work, internationalization and both academic and professional performance.
As far as ordinary annual CETT scholarships is concerned, we have made some changes to the requirements and guidelines to make application for these scholarships more accessible to students who may need such financial support to finish their studies; that is why we have moved forward the application period from September and October to June and July so applicants can find out whether they have been awarded with financial support prior to enrolling in the next academic year.
From its outset, CETT Fundació has always worked to promote creation and transfer of knowledge in the areas of tourism, hospitality and gastronomy and has always placed great importance on applied research and training as well as supported socially motivated innovative initiatives through its scholarship and financial support programs, which, this year, will be destined to support those students affected by COVID-19 to help them continue their studies at CETT.
