Access to Masters and Potsgraduate studies
1. Admission aplication
Complete the admission application, attach your resume (Curriculum vitae) and a letter of intent so that the Master’s director can evaluate your profile and determine if you will be admitted. You can find the application in the Application Form tab that appears in each of the specializations of master.

2. Language level test
Below you will find the information:
Candidates wishing to access the master's degree courses taught in Catalan at EUHT CETT UB must present an official certificate certifying the minimum required level of B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages(CEFRL).
Students who have completed their secondary education in a system where Catalan is the vehicular language will be exempt from presenting additional certifications.
Foreign candidates whose mother tongue is not Spanish and who wish to access the master's degree courses that the Escola Universitària d’Hoteleria i Turisme CETT-UB teaches in Spanish must prove a level of Spanish equivalent to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (MCER), by presenting a certificate recognized by the Association of Language Centers in Higher Education, section "Regulations and Tables of certificates recognized by ACLES, by any Faculty of Languages of any Catalan or Spanish university or the Official School of Languages or any certificate accepted by the CRUE.
Students must present at the time of registration, the corresponding original certificate accrediting the language accompanied by a photocopy.
Similarly, candidates may present a certificate accrediting the language issued by their language center. studies or by an institution that accredits your level of Spanish if your Bachelor's or High School degree program has been taught in this language in accordance with the CEFR or the DELE diplomas, provided that they are valid for no more than two years.
To find out your level of Spanish, the candidate can take a free online level test that is available in the Virtual Spanish Classroom (AVE) of the Instituto Cervantes through.
Foreign candidates whose mother tongue is not English and who wish to access the master's degree courses that the Escola Universitària d’Hoteleria i Turisme CETT-UB teaches in English must prove a level of English equivalent to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), by presenting an official certificate (Cambridge, IELTS or TOEFL) higher than or equivalent to level B2 of the CEFRL in all skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking); the certificate may also be accredited by any Faculty of Languages of any Catalan or Spanish university or the Official School of Languages, or any certificate accepted by the CRUE.
Students must present the corresponding original certificate accrediting the language at the time of registration, accompanied by a photocopy.
Likewise, native speakers of that language who hold a certificate of studies for a Baccalaureate or similar qualification in their country may be exempt from proving proficiency equivalent to level B2 in a foreign language, as well as those Spanish students who have a diploma or study equivalent to a Baccalaureate degree completed in a foreign language in accordance with the educational systems of European states (International Baccalaureate).
3. Interview with the master's director
Once we have reviewed your application, the director of the program will contact you by email or by telephone to set up an interview, in English, if considered necessary, and in case of students who reside outside Spain through Skype.

4. Admission to the program and registration
Once we have confirmed your admission to the course, we will send you, by way of email from and Academic Secretary, a letter of admission. There may be a transpire period of 7 to 10 days from the moment the letter is sent to its arrival. Attached to the letter we will also send you the necessary information to initiate the registration process.
Reservation in the course: It will be effective for a maximum term of one month after the receipt of the letter of admission
Registration: It is absolutely necessary to submit all the required documents. Foreign students who are waiting for the legal processing of their credential should contact the Registration at lola.escalona@cett.es.
5. Methods of Payment
From abroad by way of:
Credit card on-line by way of the web: By request of the student a link will be sent to a secure page10 in order to carry out the corresponding payment.
Bank transfer: By request to the student the bank account information will be sent so that the bank transfer can be carried out. Send the required documents by post to Attention Sra. Lola Escalona:

6. Necessary documents
Students who have studied in Spanish Universities:
- Attested photocopy of university degree
- Photocopy of ID or passport
- Two ID card size photos
- Social Security number
- Photocopy of bank account information
Students who have studied in Foreign Universities:
- Attested photocopy of university degree (these documents must be accompanied by an official translation of the same in Spanish or Catalan)
- Attested photocopy of legal transcripts (to be accompanied by an official translation of the same in Spanish or Catalan)
- Photocopy of ID or NIE (legal foreign passport)
- Two ID card size photos
- Photocopy of bank account information
LEGALIZATION OF FOREIGN UNIVERSITY DOCUMENTATION
Depending on the country where the university degree was obtained:
Universities in countries in the European Union: The documents expedited in countries under the direction of the Council of the European Union will not need to be legalized and will only need to be accompanied by a translation.
Universities in countries which subscribe to the Treaty of the Hague: The documents must be official originals. To legalize these it will be sufficient that the Authorities of the country of origin draw up the Apostille.
Universities in other countries: The documents must be official originals. The legalization of this will be carried out diplomatically by each of the following organisms and in the order in which they are numbered:
- The Ministry of Education in the country where the studies were carried out
- The Ministry of Foreign Relations of the corresponding country
- The Diplomatic representation of Spain in that country
OFFICIAL TRANSLATION OF DOCUMENTS EXPEDITED BY A FOREIGN UNIVERSITY
It must be carried out and expedited by the diplomatic representation or Spanish consulate abroad, the diplomatic representation or consulate of the country from which the documents proceed, or a sworn translator properly registered or authorized in Spain.
The student who, once informed, decides to apply for admission, must follow the following process:

Application for admission through the EUHT CETT-UB website: Through a form created for this purpose where the basic data of the applicant student is collected, as well as the basic documentation to be (or not) admitted: curriculum vitae and degree, information that will be validated in the first instance by the Admission Committee.

Diagnostic test: The admission process to the course establishes the development of a diagnostic test, in order to validate the knowledge of the main language used in the master's degree (refer to the admission and enrollment procedure section).
Acceptance of the applicant stude:
The positive or negative resolution of the student is made considering the following criteria:
- Positive result of the diagnostic test (essential requirement).
- Average grade of the Academic Record, together with the accreditation of having a level equivalent to B2 of the language in which the training is given in the reference group of students (40%).
- Professional experience demonstrated by the candidate (20%)
- Personal interview with the applicant (40%)
Communication of accepted admission:
Once the Master's Academic Secretary has confirmation of admission from the coordinator of the specialty, it proceeds to send the corresponding letter (by regular mail and e-mail).
Enrollment in the course:
The student, with the commmunication of accepted admission, proceeds to process the corresponding enrollment with the direct advice of the Master's Academic Secretary.
