Presentación de la propuesta de verano del Menú de las Estaciones

En el marco de Barcelona Capital Mundial de la Alimentación Sostenible 2021, se presenta este jueves, a las 13 horas, la propuesta de verano del Menú de las Estaciones con la participación, entre otros, de Ricard Gil, del CETT. El maestro de cerimonias será el chef Xavier Pellicer, de Healthy kitchen.

Experts debate on the relationship between training, tourism, and the LGTB community

Next Thursday, July 8, from 16 to 17 h, CETT-UB, the leading higher education center for tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy affiliated to the University of Barcelona, will be holding the round table "Tourism and the LGBT community: an educational perspective." At the session, experts will discuss the relationship between tourism and the LGBT community and the importance of training professionals in the tourism sector. In this sense, CETT-UB will present the need for this kind of training, such as CETT, created through the Master in LGTB Tourism. This Master's degree has the support of the Barcelona City Council. It allows acquiring the personal and professional competencies to direct and manage the tourist offer and attention to the LGTB community. The Head of Promotional Actions of the Department of Tourism Promotion of Barcelona, Mateo Asensio; the director of Innovation, Digital Transformation and Investments of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Natalia Bayona; Maartje Hensen and Roxanne Weijer, LGBT travel influencers from the Netherlands; and Oriol Pàmies, board member of the International LGBT Tourism Association and CEO of Queer Destinations will all be participating in the meeting.
