Greenhost Project
Description
The project " GreenHost Vocational Excellence, Policy and Enterprise United for Hospitality Management Skills Adapted on Environmental Footprint Methods " is a project funded by the EU programme Erasmus+ CoVe. The GreenHost project is focused on addressing the shortage of skilled staff and the challenge of becoming green and sustainable within the tourism and hospitality industry.
GreenHost brings together a group of 19 partners from 7 countries, enabling interaction and collaboration between education institutions across the levels ISCED 3-8 and industry leaders.
Objectives
The main objectives of the project are focused on:

Training students and professionals in the tourism and hospitality industry with the creation of a new skilled workforce

Designing an innovative curriculum based on the principles of sustainable economic models, socially inclusive and ethic values.

Establishing a policy reform to promotee green sustainability and entrepreneurshiop
Phases
The project includes the following phases:

Needs analysis and identification of good practices on sustainability, digitalization, and social aspects.

Development of an updated training material

Implementation of study visits and professional internships
