La Barcelona turística a los ojos de los candidatos
Tourism is one of the main economic engines of the country and a key aspect in defining the city of Barcelona and, by extension, the whole country. The sector now has the opportunity to reflect and project how it wants to be and the tourism model of the future.
At CETT, we have been working for more than 50 years to promote a responsible tourism model that involves all the actors that make up tourism activity: administrations, large group and local business owners, workers, neighborhood associations and any representative of civil society, in addition to tourists and residents.
The future of tourism is a common challenge in which training and research play a key role and which requires, at the same time, the collaboration and joint action of all the agents involved and of the public administrations.
Now, with an eye on the municipal elections of May 28, we want to share points of view and analyze and reflect on the future of tourism in the Catalan capital. It is for this purpose that the CETT is organizing the Observatory The Future of Tourism in Barcelona with the participation of the people at the top of the lists of the political forces currently represented.
